Bus Story: Leave Yourself An Out

April 12, 2010

A no-nonsense woman in a mid-thigh skirt and Nancy Sinatra Boots Made For Walkin’ is heading through the bus. Following her too closely is a tween girl, with her eyes focused on something other than the woman in front of her. Suddenly Boots stops to choose between two seats. Ms. Tween walks right into her back with an audible “ku-thunk.” Life inside the ole 54 can mimic the road we ride; remember our drivers ed films, little miss, and leave some space between you and the indecisive rider in front of you.
