Bus Story: Refugees from The Scottish Play

December 16, 2009

It’s a special night on the ole 54: we are graced with two unique kinds of Crazy. At the front of the bus sits Don’t Meet Her Gaze Lady. Unlike Medusa, her gaze doesn’t turn you to stone, but instead causes her to launch into a variety of soothsaying that only the truly damaged souls have access to. Frankly, it would be better to be turned to stone. And in the back of the bus is Sings To Herself Lady. Some orchestra in her head is providing the tune, but the parts she’s sharing with us only vaguely resemble music. If these two Weird Sisters would just find their third, we could get on with the scene.
